Report: Marco Belinelli Fined $15,000 for Making ‘Obscene Gesture’ During Bulls’ Game 7 Win (Video)

Bulls guard Marco Belinelli was fired up after drilling a 3-pointer late in Chicago’s 99-93 win over Brooklyn on Saturday, but the NBA was not too pleased with his choice of celebration.

The league fined Belinelli $15,000, according to USA Today, for doing what has become known as the “Sam Cassell Dance” on his way back down the court after the pivotal┬áthree. The dance move, made popular by Cassell during his 15-year NBA career, has gotten players in trouble before, as Josh Smith and Eddie House have both been hit with similar fines for mimicking the gesture.
