With Pete Carroll at the helm in Seattle, nothing about the Seahawks really tends to surprise us anymore. But Richard Sherman riding up to Seahawks camp on a jet ski? Well, that was, if not a surprise, at least unexpected.

The ever eccentric Sherman cruised along the waters of Lake Washington in his wave rider to make a special appearance at Seahawks rookie camp on Saturday.

After barely missing out on a trip to the NFC Championship Game last postseason, it’s no wonder that Sherman and his fellow Seahawks teammates might be sneaking a few peeks at the new crop in camp. Carroll certainly wasn’t shocked by the All-Pro cornerback’s appearance, in fact he was just surprised more players didn’t show up.

“Was that Sherm? Cool,” Carroll said, according to Yahoo! Sports. “I was surprised there weren’t more guys. You might not have noticed, but I think Russell [Wilson] was up in the hills over there, peeking over the top, wanting to see what was going on.”
