Shane Victorino is currently on the disabled list and may be forgotten by some in the Red Sox outfield shuffle, considering the play of Daniel Nava and Mike Carp, the presence of Jonny Gomes and the imminent threat of Jackie Bradley Jr. However, one thing is clear: Victorino was never forgotten in the hearts of Phillies fans.

On Wednesday, Victorino made his first trip back to Philadelphia since being traded to the Dodgers last season. The 32-year-old played nine seasons at Citizens Bank Park, endearing himself to Phillies fans with his all-out style of play, which is an pretty impressive feat considering the fickle nature of Philadelphia sports fans.

To honor Victorino, the Phillies put together a video tribute of his career highlights with the team, causing fans to give Victorino a standing ovation. Victorino acknowledged the crowd, emerging from the Red Sox dugout to tip his hat to his longtime supporters.
