Chicks dig linebackers. At least, the ones living with Denver Broncos linebacker Von Miller do.

The chicks in question, though, are actual chickens. In a unique move, the two-time Pro Bowler has purchased 38 chickens to raise on his eight-acre property near Dallas. He hopes to one day run his very own poultry company.

“Hopefully I’ll have some chicken tenders for you guys,” Miller told USA Today.

Miller plans to put his poultry science degree from Texas A&M to good use. In school he learned about about the science of raising chickens and also the business side of the poultry industry.

“I really wanted to get to the fundamentals, getting back to raising chicks,” Miller said. “I raised chicks in college in class and stuff. Now it’s a project for me to do it on my own, and see where I go with it. I’m pretty excited about it.”
