Dougie Hamilton, Matt Bartkowski and Torey Krug aren’t afraid of the Men in Blue, and they proved that on Thursday night.
The three rookie defensemen stepped up in Game 1 against the Rangers at TD Garden with veterans Wade Redden, Andrew Ference and Dennis Seidenberg out with injury. While many B’s fans assumed that dressing a trio of rooks would be a cause for concern, the three proved to be anything but, playing stout defense and stepping up on offense.
