Baseball is throwing itself a party next summer.
The Hall of Fame in Cooperstown announced on Wednesday that it would be hosting a concert in 2014 to celebrate its 75th anniversary. Emceed by actor Robert Wuhl — best known to baseball fans for his turn in Bull Durham — the event is expected to feature “some of the music industry’s top recording artists, as well as celebrities from the world of film, television and baseball,” according to a press release. The Boston Pops will serve as the house band.
