Paul Bissonnette spotlightStories with happy endings are the best ones. One tourist’s recent trip to Scottsdale, Ariz., was saved by a member of the Phoenix Coyotes.

Ryan Bodnar‘s trip started in just about the worst way possible when he left his wallet full of cash in the backseat of a cab while out  in Scottsdale. Bodnar had dropped his wallet in just the right cab, though,  because 24 hours later Phoenix Coyotes winger Paul Bissonnette tweeted a photo of Bodnar’s lost driver’s license and the cab driver’s information to his 428,000 Twitter followers.

Someone was able to identify Bodnar and get in touch with him about his lost valuables. Bissonnette left Bodnar’s wallet with the cabbie, who was able to return it to its rightful owner.

“I honestly can’t be happier, it turned out really well cause otherwise that really would have ruined my trip,” Bodnar said.
