An outdoor deck at a restaurant in the North Bay Village area of Miami collapsed Thursday night, sending “scores” of patrons watching Game 4 of the NBA Finals between the Heat and Spurs into the water.
According to the Miami Herald, more than 100 people were watching the first half of the Heat-Spurs game on the patio deck of Shuckers Bar & Grill — located roughly five miles north of AmericanAirlines Arena — when the deck gave way, causing many to fall into “several feet of water.”
Police responded to the scene, and it is unclear whether any of the guests were seriously injured in the incident.
