No longer can Dirk Nowitzki get away with flopping on the basketball court, but such antics still fly on the charity soccer field.

The 11-time NBA All-Star stood out during an exhibition soccer game Sunday. Not only did he host the contest, which benefited deprived children, but he also took a shameless dive, won a penalty kick and scored a goal.

Nowitzki was dribbling into the penalty area at one point in the game when a defender attempted to make a tackle. The hapless opponent came nowhere close to the ball or Nowitzki, but that didn’t stop the Dallas Mavericks star from taking a tumble. The referee awarded a penalty kick, which Nowitzki expertly scored.

The ill-gotten goal wasn’t enough to secure the victory. Led by Bayern Munich and Germany‘s No. 1, “Manuel Neuer and Friends” beat “Dirk Nowitzki Allstars” 8-7 in Wuerzburg, Germany.
