Fort Wayne TinCaps Unveil ‘Social Media Night’ Jerseys Featuring More Than 6,000 Twitter Handles (Video)

Sports teams wearing Twitter handles on their uniforms has become somewhat of a trend in recent years, especially in the minor leagues. But the Fort Wayne TinCaps (Class-A affiliate of the Padres) are taking that fad to a whole new level.

As part of their “Social Media Night” promotion, the TinCaps’ game jerseys featured not only the team’s official Twitter handle (@TinCaps), but also the handles of their more than 6,000 followers.

So many organizations overdo it with their use of social media, but these unis actually look pretty cool. Check out a close-up in the video below.
