Cristina Torre made the catch of a lifetime on Wednesday, saving a baby who had climbed out of a window and fell off of a fire escape into her arms.

Torre, who is the daughter of baseball legend Joe Torre, was sitting in a coffee shop in Brooklyn, N.Y., when someone ran in to tell people to call 911. Torre quickly got up and ran outside to see the 1-year-old on the fire escape between the second and third floors of a building.

The baby suffered minor injuries in the fall and is reported to be in stable condition.

The elder Torre was asked about his daughter’s heroic actions at Yankee Stadium on Wednesday.

“I get goosebumps,” Torre said. “I know my daughter is not one to go and tell everyone what she’s done. I’m very proud of her.”
