Kaspars Daugavins may get some time to shine on Friday night.

According to NESN’s Naoko Funayama, Daugavins was skating with Rich Peverley and Tyler Seguin on the third line at morning skate. Chris Kelly took Gregory Campbell‘s spot on the Merlot Line with Daniel Paille and Shawn Thornton.

Campbell broke his leg in Boston’s Game 3 win on Wednesday night. The 25-year-old Daugavins played in Game 1 against the Maple Leafs and registered one assist in six regular-season games this year as a member of the B’s after coming over in a trade from the Senators.
