Bruins’ Shot-Blocking, Jaromir Jagr’s Play-Making Have Been Key for B’s (Audio)

Wednesday night was a late one for Bruins fans, as those two overtimes surely made for some sleepy eyes at work throughout New England the next morning. Granted, Leah Hextall is often up late hosting NESN Daily, but count her among those who were glued to the game.

Hextall called into ESPN New Hampshire for an interview Friday morning, breaking down the Bruins’ Game 3 effort and looking ahead to a potential clinching Game 4. Hextall effusively praised the Bruins’ shot blocking, the work of Johnny Boychuk, specifically, and says that the team is doing everything it can to win. Hextall also notes that although Jaromir Jagr is having trouble finding the back of the net, he’s still making plays for his teammates.
