The Bruins never trailed in their series against the Pittsburgh Penguins, so it came as little surprise when they started the Cup Final ahead of the Blackhawks.

About 13 minutes in to Game 1, Milan Lucic scored the first goal of the series, giving the B’s a 1-0 lead. The key to the play may have come as David Krejci absorbed a hit while moving the puck to Nathan Horton, who found Lucic alone in front of the net for the shot.
