With four NBA Most Valuable Player awards under his belt, seemingly countless endorsement deals and an unofficial tag as the best basketball player on the planet, it seems almost ridiculous that LeBron James has never been honored as the cover athlete of a video game.

Until now, that is. 2K Sports announced Thursday prior to Game 1 of the NBA Finals that the Miami Heat star will grace the cover of NBA 2K14, which is slated for release Oct. 1 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

And if that’s not enough for LeBron fans, 2K is also allowing those who pre-order the game to access a “King James Bonus Pack,” which includes bonus content, including unlocking the 2013 NBA MVP in “blacktop” mode and an all-new signature move special for James.
