The Heat and Spurs are a long way from either one lifting the Larry O’Brien Championship Trophy, but it is never too early to dream.
In anticipation of the NBA Finals beginning Thursday, the NBA released mock-ups of what the championship rings and banners might look like for the Heat and Spurs. The artwork was pretty basic, and each team will have creative control over designing its own rings, but the images get the point across. LeBron James or Tim Duncan could be celebrating with these — or something like these — very soon.
