Patrice BergeronBruins fans can release at least a slight gasp of air.

Patrice Bergeron was released from the hospital on Saturday night and will be flying back to Boston with the rest of his Bruins teammates. Bergeron suffered an undisclosed injury during Saturday night’s game against the Blackhawks. He did not come back onto the ice for the third period after sitting for much of the second period.

There are conflicting reports about Bergeron’s injury. Nick Kypreos of SportsNet says the center may have suffered a spleen injury. Bob McKenzie of TSN says no one has correctly guessed Bergeron’s injured body part.
