Take a breath Bruins fans. You can finally relax.

After more than 35 minutes of exhilarating playoff overtime hockey between the B’s and the Penguins, Patrice Bergeron slipped one past Pittsburgh goalie Tomas Vokoun to seal the 2-1 win and send Bruins fans home with a 3-0 series lead.

The victory gives the Bruins a commanding lead over the No. 1-seeded Penguins and a chance to close out the Eastern Conference finals at home on Friday and advance to the Stanley Cup Final.

The Bruins struck first with a goal from David Krejci just 1:42 into the first period. It took the B’s another 93 minutes to score, but thanks to another stellar performance from Tuukka Rask (53 saves), it was all they needed to get within five victories of a Stanley Cup title.
