Report: Nerlens Noel, Victor Oladipo Among 10 Players Invited to Green Room for Thursday’s NBA Draft

Eastern Michigan Kentucky BasketballWith Thursday night’s NBA draft fast approaching, the league has invited 10 players to watch the night’s events from the green room.

Those ten invitees are Nerlens Noel (Kentucky), Victor Oladipo (Indiana), Otto Porter (Georgetown), Alex Len (Maryland), Anthony Bennett (UNLV), Ben McLemore (Kansas), Trey Burke (Michigan), Michael Carter-Williams (Syracuse) — Hamilton, Mass., native, C.J. McCollum (Lehigh) and Cody Zeller (Indiana), according to ESPN.

Those players were determined via a poll by the league’s general managers on who they think are lottery-worthy players. The ESPN report also notes that the NBA usually invites 3-to-5 more players when the draft draws even closer.

The Cleveland Cavaliers hold the No. 1 draft slot, and are projected to take Noel in multiple expert mock drafts. The rest of the Top 10 pans out in this order: Orlando Magic, Washington Wizards, Charlotte Bobcats, Phoenix Suns, New Orleans Pelicans, Sacramento Kings, Detroit Pistons, Minnesota Timberwolves and the Portland Trail Blazers.

The Celtics, meanwhile, hold the rights to the No. 16 pick.
