Aaron HernandezPolice searched Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez‘s North Attleboro home for a few hours Tuesday and took a box with them when they left, according to reports.

Hernandez, 23, spoke Tuesday with law enforcement officials, who then searched his home in connection with the death of a man who is said to be an “associate” of Hernandez, according to ABC News.

The body of the 27-year-old man was recovered about a mile away from Hernandez’ North Attleboro home Monday night. A 2013 black Chevrolet Suburban rental car registered under Hernandez’s name was also found nearby.

Police arrived at Hernandez’s home around 5 p.m. Tuesday and brought a search warrant later in the evening. There is no indication as to what the box contained.

Hernandez is not thought to be a suspect in the murder, according to Sports Illustrated.
