Shane Victorino, Jose Iglesias Out of Lineup for Rubber Match in Tampa Bay

While most Bostonians have their eyes fixed on the Windy City, the Red Sox will wrap up their series in the Sunshine State.

After the Sox came away with a win after 14 innings Monday, the Rays responded with a 8-3 win the following night, setting up a rubber match at Tropicana Field on Wednesday.

Will Middlebrooks will get another chance in the No. 8 slot for Boston after going 1-for-7 in his first game back from the disabled list and sitting out Tuesday night. Manager John Farrell continues to juggle Middlebrooks and Jose Iglesias at third base, with the skipper saying Iglesias will be in the starting lineup at least three times a week.

Mike Carp also returns to the lineup in left field, with Daniel Nava shifting over to right field to give Shane Victorino a night off. Victorino is not far removed from a hamstring injury that sent him to the DL, and the Red Sox are being careful not overuse him. Carp has made the most of his limited at-bats this season, hitting .322 with six home runs and 22 RBIs in 37 games.
