Life is not easy for Tim Duncan right now. While leading the Spurs in a back-and-forth NBA Finals against the Miami Heat, Duncan is going through a messy divorce with his wife, Amy, with divorce proceedings due to proceed as soon as the Spurs’ season is finished.

With that in mind, Duncan was not about to waste an opportunity to be with his kids on Father’s Day — even if he was sort of busy on Sunday. During halftime of the Spurs’ 114-104 win over the Heat to take a 3-2 series lead, Duncan took a moment to hang out with his two children and a friend in the hallway near the Spurs’ locker room.

Duncan and his wife reportedly have been at odds for months. Numerous gossip sites have reported that Duncan suspected Amy of infidelity and hired a private investigator to follow her and confirm his suspicions. That reportedly motivated Amy to file for divorce, ignoring Duncan’s request to delay the filing until after the finals.

Quiet moments like this one with Duncan and his kids might become fewer and more far between very soon, so hopefully he enjoys them in the meantime.
