Coming into the NBA Finals, a lot of the talk centered around LeBron James raising his game and making sure the Heat would have the best chance to win. Instead, a different superstar has taken his game to the next level, as Tim Duncan is the one making his teammates better and performing at an elite level.
Duncan’s Spurs have easily contained James through the first three games of the NBA Finals, to the point where LeBron is making history for the wrong reasons.
After a blowout win for San Antonio in Game 3, it appears that the Spurs are firmly in the driver’s seat for the rest of the series — as long as Tony Parker‘s hamstring holds up.
