Tom BradyThe NFL Network’s “Top 100 Players of 2013” came to a close Thursday with the announcement of the top 10 players in the league, which included New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady at No. 4.

The top-ranked player on the list, which is voted on by NFL players, was Vikings running back Adrian Peterson. He was followed by Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning and Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson.

It’s hard to argue with the ranking of Peterson at No. 1 after he rushed for 2,097 yards and 12 touchdowns last season, but picks 2-100 are a different story.

Patriots fans will probably be most upset with Manning being ranked ahead of Brady, and it will undoubtedly give new life to the debate over who is better.

The rest of the top 10 goes in this order: No. 5 J.J. Watt, No. 6 Aaron Rodgers, No. 7 Aldon Smith, No. 8 Arian Foster, No. 9 Von Miller and No. 10 Patrick Willis.

Brady isn’t the only Patriots player on the list, though, as he is joined by Rob Gronkowski (No. 25), Vince Wilfork (No. 30) and Logan Mankins (No. 82). Former Patriots Wes Welker (No. 44) and Aaron Hernandez (No. 77) are also included in the top 100.

The NFL Network also put together a video package of NFL players saying why they think Brady is one of the top players in the league.
