Game 6 didn’t go exactly how the Bruins had planned, and now their season is over.
It was a crazy ride from the first playoff series against Toronto to the final horn in Game 6 against the Blackhawks at TD Garden, and the B’s left everything they had on the ice. They came within minutes of forcing a Game 7 but ultimately fell short, losing the Cup to Chicago.
Naturally, the players took the loss pretty hard, and forward Tyler Seguin said after the game that he hadn’t cried for as long as he could remember — until after Monday night’s loss.
