Yankees Honor James Gandolfini With Moment of Silence Thursday Night (Photo)

Eleven years ago, James Gandolfini wowed the Yankee Stadium crowd with his reading of Lou Gehrig‘s famous speech.

Gandolfini, who rose to international fame as Tony Soprano in HBO’s acclaimed series The Sopranos, died Wednesday while on vacation in Italy, and the Bronx Bombers took a moment to pay their respects prior hosting the Tampa Bay Rays on Thursday.
