Rays pitcher Alex Cobb is on his way to a full recovery.

Just under a month ago, Cobb was struck in the head by a line drive off the bat of Eric Hosmer in a game against the Kansas City Royals. On Friday, the pitcher was back on the mound for the first time since.

Cobb left the game on June 15 with only a mild concussion after the 102-mph line drive hit him near his ear.
