Bruins buffs pay big bucks to see their NHL superstars, but the Ice Girls are fan favorites as well.
The Ice Girls, the professional cheerleading and dance team for the Boston Bruins, includes 17 young women from all over New England. They boost team spirit, interact with fans and are an active part of the community. They can be seen at home games enthusiastically distributing rosters, skating on the ice between periods, taking photos and signing autographs.
Off the ice, the Ice Girls have plenty of responsibilities as well. They go to viewing parties, charity events and fundraisers, working closely with the Boston Bruins Foundation. They are also a part of local business events, support other local sports teams, visit hospitals and work with young people at schools and minor league games.
