The Rays were very active on Twitter this weekend.

First, Tampa Bay’s official Twitter account tweeted out an ad for a “steel alloy phone with Kevlar cord,” that would need to be installed by Sept. 10. It was a playful shot toward the Red Sox and David Ortiz after Big Papi smashed a telephone with his bat on Saturday.

Now, Rays ace David Price is having some fun on Twitter at the expense of Boston’s David Ross. MLB tweeted out a photo of Ross using a tin can phone prior to Sunday’s game. He was also trying to “repair” the dugout phone, which some of his teammates tried to do earlier.

There was a slight problem, though, with Ross’ shirt, which Price was able to detect. The shirt said, “If you see this, your in second place.” As Price pointed out in his tweet, the shirt should say “you’re” instead.

Check out a photo of the shirt and Price’s tweet below.
