A soccer-playing goldfish has caught the attention of scouts after video of one of its games emerged on the Internet.

The fish, who goes by the name of Span, found the net three times in the short clip. It was able to do so without leaving the comfort of its tank, and the credit must go to its unnamed owner and coach.

The specially trained Span responds to prompts and dribbles the ball into the goal.

They say a goal scorer is worth its weight in gold. Span’s skills should be enough to save him from the toilet when his playing days are over.
