Jason Garrett Says It’s Important For Football Players to Understand Pythagorean Theorem (Video)

Football seems like a pretty simple game of feet and inches, but Jason Garrett wants to make sure that his players understand the mathematical side of things on the gridiron.

The Cowboys head coach told a group of reporters that he thinks its important that his players know how to find the hypotenuse of a right triangle so that they understand the nuances of running different routes. Running forward six yards is not the same thing as running six yards on an angle, of course.
