The closure of the Bay Bridge, which connects San Francisco to Oakland, for several hours Friday made the commute to O.co Coliseum a hectic one.

Among those caught in the gridlock was Josh Hamilton, whose Angels were in town to play the A’s. Most Anaheim players arrived to the ballpark early via team shuttle, according to MLB.com’s Alden Gonzalez, but Hamilton and several others had to resort to public transportation, riding to the game aboard the BART train.

A bunch of Angels on the BART in Oakland is the equivalent of Alex Rodriguez riding the T into Kenmore, but Hamilton was a good enough sport to snap a photo with a young A’s fan — who promptly jabbed the outfielder on Twitter for his costly late-season fielding blunder.

Check out the photo below, with a hat tip to Big League Stew for the find.
