July is apparently the month to get hitched for young quarterbacks in the NFC East.
Matt Barkley and Robert Griffin III both tied the knot last weekend, with Barkley marrying longtime girlfriend Brittany Langdon and Griffin making it official with Rebecca Liddicoat.
Barkley’s now-wife played soccer at Seattle Pacific University, while Barkley is in the mix for quarterbacking the Philadelphia Eagles. Competition will be stiff, though, as Michael Vick and Nick Foles both look to keep the job they’ve had some success with.
Griffin, meanwhile, shouldn’t have any trouble keeping a lock on the starting job for the Redskins. He was the Rookie of the Year last season and is quickly recovering from tearing his ACL in the playoffs.
