Metta World Peace is a unique character — after all, just look at his name — so as one might suspect, he had a unique reaction after the Los Angeles Lakers released him via the amnesty clause Thursday night.

The former Lakers forward took to Twitter to react to the news, but he didn’t exactly seem sad about it. Instead, the 33-year-old used it as an opportunity to tell everyone what he has planned next, from playing overseas with Yao Ming to retiring from basketball and suiting up to play hockey for the Los Angeles Kings. But that’s all after he serves food for the restaurant Saladish in Pasadena, Calif., of course.

Check out World Peace’s tweets below.
