John LackeyWith a 6-0 loss to the Orioles Friday night, the Red Sox surrendered their first place position in the AL East to the Rays. John Lackey gave up nine hits while Chris Tillman only surrendered two and managed to keep Boston off the scoreboard.

The two teams are back at it again Saturday, and this time Ryan Dempster will be on the mound for the Sox. Dempster hasn’t earned a decision in July — his last coming in the form of a win over the Rockies on June 25.

Jacoby Ellsbury came up with half of Boston’s hits Friday, picking up two, and is leading off again Saturday. The Red Sox are batting the same lineup, but switching Mike Carp for Daniel Nava in left field.

The Orioles also send the same players to the plate, including Adam Jones who homered twice off of Lackey. Scott Feldman gets the start for the Birds, looking for his third win as an Oriole.
