Report: Andrew Ference Signs Four-Year, $13 Million Deal With Oilers

Andrew Ference loved Boston and Boston loved him back, but the veteran free agent defenseman is heading home to Edmonton to likely end things where it all started.

Ference signed a four-year, $13 million deal with the Oilers on Friday, according to Bob McKenzie. The 34-year-old spent his last seven seasons with the Bruins after being acquired by the B’s in a trade with the Flames along with Chuck Kobasew for Brad Stuart and Wayne Primeau.

Ference also tweeted out a photo of what appears to be him at a very young age, rocking an Oilers uni. Check it out below.
