The Stanley Cup gets hockey players into just about every hot spot in any North American city but toting around hockey’s chalice isn’t always aboutĀ poppin’ bottles and VIP service — it’s about enjoying it with the community.

On Tuesday, the Cup made its way to Lurie Children’s Hospital in Chicago where its patients were glowing with happiness and pride. One employee reports that the Cup was filled with ticker tape from the parade and that each piece of tape had a patient’s name on it.

Check out some photos of the visit below that will be sure to warm your heart.
