Vote: What Should the Celtics Do With Rajon Rondo?

Rajon Rondo, Amare StoudemireThe Boston Celtics may have traded away the faces of their franchise when they sent Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce to the Brooklyn Nets this offseason, but one popular face remains — that of Rajon Rondo.

The four-time All-Star point guard has remained a Celtic despite trade speculations, but the question remains: Should the Celtics trade their lone remaining star or should they attempt to build a championship-caliber team around him?

The roster Rondo was familiar with was dismantled seemingly overnight, and his challenge will be to lead a group of young, new players in the 2013-14 season — if he remains in Boston. With a new coach, Brad Stevens, and new teammates, Rondo will be forced to take on a leadership role without the help of Garnett and Pierce on and off the court.

On the other hand, if the Celtics wash their hands of Rondo, they will be in full-tilt rebuilding mode. They will risk suffering through a rough season and pin their hopes on the draft class of 2014.

The Celtics’ roster has already undergone major upheaval, but will there be more?  Voice your opinion below.
