Aaron Dobson, Ben BartholomewWith the Patriots’ receiving corps now nearly unrecognizable from the unit the team fielded last season, Bill Belichick will count on a stable of newcomers to stabilize the passing game.

One of those new faces is former Rams wide receiver Danny Amendola, but a number of Patriots wideout hopefuls entering training camp have never played an NFL game.

At the top of that list are second-round draft pick Aaron Dobson, fourth-rounder Josh Boyce and undrafted rookie Kenbrell Thompkins, who — especially after the release of veteran Donald Jones last week — will all likely spend time catching passes from Tom Brady this season.

The Patriots have been traditionally terrible at drafting quality wide receivers (see: Brandon Tate, Chad Jackson, etc.), but with only Julian Edelman and special-teamer Matthew Slater remaining from last year’s crew of wideouts, getting production out of these young guys will be crucial to New England’s success on offense this season.

So, with camp set to open in just a few days, who among this rookie class of receivers will play the biggest role for the Patriots this season? Voice your opinion in the poll below.
