Alfonso Soriano Runs Two-Game RBI Total to 13 With Seven-RBI Performance Against Angels (Video)

The Yankees have scored 25 runs in their last two games, and one man has driven in 13 of them.

Alfonso Soriano has been on an absolute tear for the streaking Bronx Bombers, following up a six-RBI performance on Tuesday by driving in seven runs on two homers and a double Wednesday night as New York routed the Angels by a combined score of 25-10.

Soriano has been far from an offensive dynamo since returning to the Yankees last month — he entered Tuesday hitting just .196 in pinstripes — but his five home runs since being traded from the Cubs already rank seventh among all Yankees hitters.
