The America East became the latest conference to adopt a new identity on Tuesday.
Following in the footsteps of the Big Ten and the newly formed American Athletic Conference (or “The American”), the new America East logo is a simple one — a stylized blue “A” with three white stripes — and will be customized for each of the league’s nine member schools.
It’s a stark departure from the conference’s two previous logos, which both played off the “America” by employing a red, white and blue color scheme, but the adoption of school-specific logos should provide a much cleaner look.
