At least for one inning, pitching was easier than running for C.J. Wilson.
During Tuesday night’s game against the Rays, the Angels pitcher was trotting out to the mound when he got tripped up and took a tumble at Tropicana Field. After gracefully hopping over the third base foul line, Wilson lost his footing, but he kept some dignity as he turned the embarrassing moment into a nifty head-first slide.
