Jeff Green, Carmelo AnthonyOnce again, the Celtics’ preseason schedule will have an international flavor, although they won’t be going to any fancy locales like Turkey or Italy.

Two of the Celtics’ eight preseason contests in 2013 will take place in Canada, with all but their first and final exhibition games occurring away from TD Garden. They will take their usual preseason road show to Manchester, N.H., Newark, Del., and Providence, R.I.

One of the games in Canada will be against the Raptors in their usual venue, the Air Canada Centre in Toronto. The other will be at the Bell Centre, home of the Montreal Canadiens, against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Last time we checked, Montrealais were not big fans of sports-playing folks from Boston.

The Celtics also face the Brooklyn Nets twice, as expected, although it is unclear if Paul Pierce or Kevin Garnett will play in either of those games.

The full preseason schedule appears below.

Oct. 7 vs. Raptors at TD Garden in Boston
Oct. 9 vs. Knicks at Dunkin Donuts Center in Providence, R.I.
Oct. 11 vs. 76ers at Bob Carpenter Center in Newark, Del.
Oct. 12 vs. Knicks at Verizon Wireless Arena in Manchester, N.H.
Oct. 15 vs. Nets at Barclays Center in New York City
Oct. 16 vs. Raptors at Air Canada Centre in Toronto
Oct. 20 vs. Timberwolves at Bell Centre in Montreal
Oct. 23 vs. Nets at TD Garden in Boston.
