Bruins training camp officially opens a week from Wednesday, but a handful of B’s were back on the practice Tuesday to get some work in.

The Black and Gold hit the practice ice at Ristuccia Arena in Wilmington, Mass., on Tuesday morning for captain’s practices. A bunch of Bruins were in attendance, including the biggest of the club’s big-name summer acquisitions. Future Hall of Fame winger Jarome Iginla was among those at Ristuccia for the informal workout.

According to the Bruins, Iginla was joined by Dennis Seidenberg, David Krejci and Daniel Paille at the practice. Providence Bruins forward Bobby Robins and defenseman David Warsofsky were also there.

Patrice Bergeron, Brad Marchand and Milan Lucic weren’t in attendance, but that was for good reason. They remain in Calgary for Team Canada orientation camp.
