There’s a new name in big-time sports TV, and FOX Sports 1 is making the leap with two names American sports fans will be hearing and seeing a lot of in the very near future. There’s a good chance the duo will be thoroughly enjoyed, if they’re able to replicate what they did in Canada.
Those two men are Jay Onrait and Dan O’Toole. With FOX Sports 1 set to launch this weekend, Onrait and O’Toole will be two of the network’s most important faces, the anchors of the network’s highlight show, FOX Sports Live. Onrait and O’Toole are no strangers to that type of TV, as they’re coming down from Canada after anchoring TSN’s SportsCentre.
While anchoring SportsCentre, the two became wildly popular. Their comedic delivery is always good for a laugh, and FOX Sports Live will offer fans an alternative to the way sports highlights are delivered now.
FOX Sports Live will air nightly, and the show will debut Aug. 17 at 11 p.m., the same night that FOX Sports 1 will get off the ground. Before that happens, why not get familiar with the work of the network’s two main faces?
