Lord Stanley’s Cup has been making the rounds over the last few weeks with the Stanley Cup champion Chicago Blackhawks. Monday night it was head coach Joel Quenneville‘s turn with the most awesome trophy in sports, and he seemed to have a pretty good time with it.

Quenneville toted the Cup around Chicago before ending the day with a boat party on Lake Michigan. Coach Q gave some old friends the chance to meet the Cup as well. In attendance at the boat party were former Hartford Whalers players Ron Francis and Kevin Dineen.

Quenneville played seven season in Hartford, but the team never won the Stanley Cup as the Whalers. The franchise celebrated its first Cup win in 2006 as the Carolina Hurricanes.
