Finally, Johnny Manziel pops up in a story not involving autographs, underage partying or NCAA investigators.
Manziel and his teammates engaged in a good, old-fashioned joust-off in the A&M locker room, as captured by freshman defensive lineman Tyler Godwin. It looks like an awesome time, but head coach Kevin Sumlin can’t be too pleased about his players flying toward each other in makeshift go-karts while brandishing long sticks. At least the Heisman winner steers clear of the crash zone.
