johnny manziel houseTexas A&M’s controversial star football player, Johnny Manziel, has been creating quite the buzz in the news recently.

He won the Heisman Trophy last season, but things have gone downhill for him since. The latest story to surface is his alleged signing of memorabilia in exchange for compensation. If this is true, Manziel could be ruled ineligible next season for violating NCAA rules.

This summer’s media circus has exacerbated Manziel’s already notorious reputation. Manziel posted that he could not wait to leave College Station on his Twitter account. This was back in June.

Coincidentally, Manziel’s parents listed their Miramont, Texas, property for sale earlier this year, as well. Miramont is an affluent neighborhood of Bryan, Texas, and is only 15 minutes from the Texas A&M campus. The house was originally listed for $405,000, but the price has now reduced to $379,000. It is a single-family home with lots of Texan charm and requires little maintenance. Perhaps Johnny Football can take a few notes.
