With characters like Jonny Gomes and Mike Napoli taking the reigns of this new unshaven face of the organization, many others have followed suit. Others, like David Ortiz, who haven’t changed their style, have found an unlikely home within the clubhouse.
They’re just the latest generation of great beards in Red Sox history. See where they stack up among some other good ones from Boston’s past.
