The Los Angeles Lakers will join the “unique uniform” party in 2013 when they don special “Hollywood Nights” uniforms for select games.
The Detroit Pistons will wear “Motor City” uniforms for some games during the 2013-2014 season, and the Phoenix Suns unveiled their new jerseys (complete with sleeves on the alternates) earlier this month. The Lakers also announced they would be wearing short-sleeved jerseys for some games during the season, and they decided to take things a step further with the Hollywood Nights-themed uniforms.
The alternate uniforms are black and feature purple lettering with gold piping. Check out a preview in the video below.
